Hobson, as a pup

Agust Borzoi started with a love for a breed many, many years ago, at a 4-H dog club meeting, in Washougal, WA. I've never learned to whom those magnificent creatures belonged, but I started dreaming of one day owning such a stunning dog.

 

My first love was found in the newspaper; a hansom man in need of a new home. His name was Kenai's Law and Order. Then called Logan, when he ran across his new home, 3 acres of grass and trees, I could only think of a thundercloud rolling across the top of the hill, and thus he came to dwell in my heart as Thor.

 

Thor passed away in May 2005. He was just shy of reaching his 12th birthday. I miss him terribly. We shared a wonderful 8 years together.

 

There hasn't been a day that I haven't felt blessed to have such a love in my life. Thor introduced me to new people, and totally changed my life. His breeders John and Michelle Rowton have taught me a lot about this wonderful breed. 

 

I'm slowly getting into the world of breeding. Am Can Intl Champion Kenai's Aldebaran "Orion" sired a wondrous litter of kids in 2003. Hobson is just one of the puppies. To view what the others are up to visit with Lynda Gillaspey.
